I have just finished my sixth novel – hurrah! I have no idea what it’s going to be called yet but it’s about two sisters, Polly and Clare, who are completely different, and I’ve had a lot of fun putting them together under the same roof and enjoying the resulting arguments. Polly’s a high-flier in the city but when she loses everything, she is forced to move back home to rural Hampshire. Clare, meanwhile, is a divorced mother of two who struggles to make ends meet in her ramshackle cottage. But as Polly’s star falls, Clare’s is on the rise… and neither sister is prepared for the consequences…

It’ll be published in summer 2012. Let’s hope I’ve thought of a good title by then!
